Junior Once Again Left Off AC Alert Test

AMHERST, Ma. – Calling it a “frightening display of ineptitude,” Amherst College student Lucas Borcello spent much of Thursday waiting for a phone call, text message, or email indicating the semester test of the AC Alert System.  “I can’t get on the list,” said the exasperated junior, who also works in the IT department.  “Where do I get on the list?”  At press time, the student had sent out several emails to Chief of Police John Carter with such subject lines as “THIS HASN’T BEEN FIXED YET,” and “NOW YOU HAVE MY EMAIL,” indicating his obvious frustration.
