College Adopts Railyard Conspiracy Pricing Strategy

RYC

AMHERST, Ma. – Amherst College Admissions Director Katie Fretwell announced Friday that the liberal-arts college would adopt the three-fifths tuition compromise suggested by young-adult contemporary band Railyard Conspiracy (RYC) in order to attract female applicants to the school.  Asked for comment, RYC frontman Ian Stahl ’14 noted that the pricing scheme was “brilliant” but not in fact of his own invention. “You can thank the Monkey Bar for that.”
